How do I book a cleaning service in Ottawa?

How far in advance do I need to book?
We recommend booking 2 to 3 days in advance for standard cleans. For move-in/move-out or deep cleans, 3 to 5 business days is ideal. Same-day and next-day availability may be possible — call us to check.
Can I book a one-time cleaning without a recurring plan?
Absolutely. We offer one-time cleans with no commitment required. Many clients start with a one-time deep clean before deciding on a regular schedule.
How do I reschedule or cancel my booking?
Contact us at least 24 hours before your appointment — by phone at (343) 500-5556 or by email at hello@cleaningmaidz.com. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a small fee.

Our Cleaning Process
What does a regular cleaning include?
Regular cleaning covers: vacuuming and mopping all floors, dusting all surfaces, cleaning the kitchen (counters, sink, appliances externally), full bathroom cleaning (toilet, sink, tub/shower), emptying bins, and wiping mirrors and glass.
What does a deep cleaning include?
Deep cleaning includes everything in a regular clean plus: inside oven and fridge, inside cabinets, grout scrubbing, cleaning behind appliances, washing baseboards and door frames, ceiling fans, light fixtures, and window sills.
Do I need to do anything before the cleaner arrives?
Just tidy away loose clutter so our team can access all surfaces. You don't need to pre-clean — that's our job. Ensure we have access to the property.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
No. Many Ottawa clients provide a key or door code. All cleaners are bonded, insured, and background-checked. We send a notification when we arrive and when we finish.
How long does a cleaning take?
A regular clean of a 2-bedroom home takes about 2 hours. A 4-bedroom home takes 3 to 4 hours. Deep cleans take 4 to 8 hours depending on home size and condition.

Yes. All our cleaning solutions are completely non-toxic and safe once dry. We recommend keeping pets out of freshly cleaned rooms for about 30 minutes while surfaces air-dry.
Do you disinfect high-touch surfaces?
Yes. We disinfect all high-touch surfaces including light switches, door handles, taps, counters, and appliance controls using eco-safe disinfectants.

How much does house cleaning cost in Ottawa?

Are there any hidden fees?
No hidden fees. The price we quote is the price you pay. If scope changes significantly on the day, we will discuss any adjustment with you before proceeding.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, e-Transfer (Interac), and cash. Payment is due on the day of service. Recurring plan clients can set up automatic billing.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes. New clients receive $35 off their first clean. We also offer loyalty discounts for weekly plans and referral bonuses for every new Ottawa client you refer.
